Pugnacious began in Sherwood Park, Alberta in 1995 with a self-titled cassette tape demo. They broke up in the summer of 2000.

Between 2001 and 2002 they reunited for some farewell shows. One of those shows was the "Log Cabin Incident" show in Sherwood Park when the RCMP pepper sprayed several of the all-ages attendees who had gathered in the parking lot after exiting the venue.

On September 10, 2016 they reunited yet again to perform at a memorial show to honour their former lead singer.

Those who normalize abuse are themselves just as guilty as the abuser. Most often, the abuser's target will only become an object-of-abuse if the abuser's hang-arounds collude with him or her.

If you can sense that something is not right, speak up and be an advocate for the silenced.
